King’s Biergarten

King’s is a family enterprise owned by Hans Sitter and his son, Phillip. Expect an excellent selection of foreign and local beer on tap, and an impressive array of German dishes and American favorites.
I showed up with a large group on a busy Sunday afternoon, the general manager opened the garden bar for us and the waiters did the rest. Delicious food, great service, no rush and privacy earned 5-stars from me and big tips from everyone in the group.
The Sitters opened their second restaurant, BierHaus, in the Houston Heights in 2017. The opening was among the Top 15 Most Anticipated Openings in 15 U.S. Cities by Zagat.
